Follow these simple instructions for proper measuring for your kitchen renovation:

• measure in inches
• measure sink window wall first
• start in the corner of the room and measure to the edge of the window trim
• work clockwise around the room - record all measurements taking note of the doors, windows, radiators, etc.
• include the width of the trim in the dimension for windows and doors
• mark the locations of heating, plumbing and electrical fixtures
• indicate the exterior walls
• note the floor to ceiling height
• mark the measurement from the floor to the bottom of windows and indicate overall height
